Ding Dong, The Cast Is Gone!

Yay, Hooray, and Hallelujah!  The cast is finally gone, and I am back to work!  I am still wearing a splint for a week or two as my wrist is very weak, but it gets a bit better every day, and at least I have the use of my hand again. =0)

I've been making up for lost time by chainmailling like a madwoman.  Here are three new pieces I've made since the cast was removed on the 15th:

By the way, how do you like that slick new background?  Can you guess what it is?  It's the glass patio table on our deck!  After all of the money and time and effort I put into arranging backgrounds for my product shots, it turns out I had the perfect thing in my back yard the whole time!  Go figure...

Now that I am getting back to normal, I am busy, busy, busy cleaning up my studio, and getting ready to teach classes there.  Speaking of classes, here's some exciting news: I have just arranged to teach Chain making at Massasoit in the fall!  There will be three consecutive evening classes on the Brockton campus beginning in October.  Please look for it in the Massasoit catalog that will be coming out soon.  I'd love to see you there!
